It's what we do...

Hi folks,  Just thought I'd let you know what we do each week, so you know where to focus your attention at home in the evenings and want to do school-y stuff. Mondays  Spiralundi. This is a quick 5 question math review quiz-like deal that checks on the retention of all concepts since the beginning of the year. We did our first one this week, and it looked a lot like last week's math quiz because, well, that's all we'd done so far.  Practice for the math quiz. Is exactly what it sounds like. I give them a practice quiz, we correct it together, and they keep it so they know a) what the quiz is going to look like, format-wise, and b) so they know where to focus their last-minute studying.  Howdy, folks, Here is the summary of what's coming up this week... Work that has already been assigned and is coming due: Social studies reflection questions about privilege are due tomorrow (Monday) and are available on Google Classroom (assigned last Tuesday) Art shape sheets (2 of circles, squares, or triangles) are also due tomorrow (assigned last Tuesday) French idea sort into broader categories, plus listing "what the haters gonna say" is due tomorrow. Also, what would someone who disagrees with them say?  Science has a project due on February 19th about the 3 laws of motion. There is information about th...

Click here for the link to the original document The "pacing" chart is slightly different this week, since my at-school students don't always have tech at school, and my at-home students don't always have access to a printer. Please do your best to find ways to get it done. Thanks!

Link to the original document ALSO: Please advise the school about your decision to return (or not) in June as soon as possible. Mme Karina sent out a survey yesterday evening by email. We accept and respect all decisions. Please note that safe distancing expectations will be different when we return to school in a week or so (less restrictive, contact the school for details), and that your children may or may not be in their own classrooms with their own teachers, depending on many different factors.
